Folks, need your help.

Has anyone have results for the following materials

1. whitening effect of kojic acid dipalmiatate
2. anti aging effect of argan oil
3. firming effect of collagen

I am basically looking for the number of days before these materials take effect, and their concentrations when incorporated in an emulsion. Hope you can lend me a hand.

If this isn't in the academic literature, the only way to get that information (aside from paying for the testing yourself) would be from the companies that sell Kojic Acid Dipalmitate, Argan Oil, and/or Collagen.

Anyone else would regard this as proprietary information. Sharing it could lose someone their job.

I don't know about the speed of kojic acid dipalmiatate but I'll comment on the others.

Argan oil - what do you mean by "anti aging effect"?   Argan oil has not been shown to have any effect at all for reducing wrinkles, firming skin or removing age spots.

Collagen firming.  It doesn't.  Applying collagen topically has not been shown to have any noticeable effect on skin firming.

Sorry I couldn't be more helpful but science is science.

If you're more interested in the marketing angle then you can put the ingredients in the formula at a concentration of 0.1% (or 0.01%) and play up their effects in the marketing story.
  • @Perry, that specifically is my problem. The marketing team I'm working with wants to join the bandwagon with regards to Argan and Collagen. But as Mr. Bobzchemist pointed out, these information are top secret! So the only way for us to substantiate our claim is to have the tests done?
