BEST FUNGICIDE TO PAIR WITH OTIPHEN PLUS IN MY LEAVE IN SPRAY

So am working on new formulas and I kind of read that optiphen plus can be weak on mold/fungi, so am considering adding another preservation that can boost it. What I have in mind is Adding gluconolactone. Ph of the leave in spray is 4.5. Wanted suggestion and also want to know if gluconolactone is a good fungicide and if it will work at that PH. Also using a chelator at 0.1 %

Gluconolactone is a chelate and not a fungicide ;) . Chelates in general boost antimicrobial efficacy but they don't turn a poor preservative into a great one (not saying that optiphen is weak).

Thank so much. I actually thought gluconolactone is effective when it comes to mold/fungi. Thanks for the clarification. Can you please advice what I can pair with otiphen for a leave in spray to help improve preservation against mold/fungi.
