naticide composition?

Hi, I am interested in naticide but I dont have access to it,

Im aware the composition is secret but can anyone try to guess what compounds are in it? I want to use it as a CO-preservative

The only info ive found is that vanillin can be used to kill bacteria in certain foods and also benzaldehyde is known to have an almond scent???

You could ask the supplier for compositional data - but doubt they'll come through.  This is another of the "natural", trust-me preservative.
Think the info you've found is not useful.

Someone here posted a sheet showing what it doesn't contain and I think the two were on the list (like everything else). I have absolutely no clue and am wondering the same. Maybe a scam like the stuff from Active Micro Technologies?

I'm with Pharma.  No confidence in mystery preservatives.
  • I don't have Naticide, but my best guess is it's a combination of benzaldehyde, vanillin, and lauric acid. Lauric acid smells slightly soapy, and you can easily conceal it via vanillin and other stronger-smelling fragrances. So, it would make perfect sense (but sketchy nonetheless) for the company to label it as "fragrance."
Yes, I'd steer clear from that one.
